1.Federalism is a political concept in which a group of members are bound together by covenant with a governing representative head and other authoritys. I think federalism means the division of different people who all come together to govern one state or country as a whole.
2. a. Expressed Power; Those delagated powers of the National Government that are spelled out, expressly, in the constitiution; also called the "emumerated powers."
b. Implied Power; Those delegated powers of the National government that are suggested by the expressed powers set out the constitution ; "those necessary and proper" to carry out the expressed powers.
c. Inherent power; Powers the constitution is presumed to have delegated to the National Government because it is the government of a sovereign state within the world community.

3. It is a system in which the power to govern is shared between national and provincial/state governments, also called a federation. This is important to not give too much power to one group or person to prevent problems and having to much control.
4. The Supremacy Clause is a clause in the US Constitution made up of federal laws and treaties made by the United States and other nations. It is a large American legal system in the Federal Courts and in all of the State courts, saying that all state judges shall uphold them, even if there are state laws or state constitutions that conflict with the powers of the Federal government. (Note that the word "shall" is used here and in the language of the law, which makes it a necessity, a compulsion.)
